Sony’s flagship combo DVD-ROM/CD-RW combo drive is the venerable CRX320E family.With blazing 52X/32X/52X/16X speed, full CDs can be burned in about 3minutes. Burning performance is reliable thanks to powerful buffer underrunprotection. Standard EIDE/ATAPI interface drive is an ideal fit in small PCchassis thanks to its shorter length, about 1” shorter than other combodrives. Various models are available with different colored bezels.

Sony raises the bar for high performance CD-R/RW burning again with its new 52x max. CD-R/RW drive. The CRX230E supports 32x max. ultra speed CD rewriting, and features buffer underrun protection technology. Installation of the CRX230E into small footprint desktop computer cases is easier thanks to the drive's shorter length.
